RENOWNED wildlife photographer Steve Parish, now 70, is hosting three events in Canberra this weekend aimed at to capturing the interest of budding photographers, nature lovers and senior.

Steve Parish, the man who went from Navy diver to the founder and creative force behind a multi-million nature and Australiana publishing company, has spent the past 50 years capturing Australia’s greatest natural landscapes and now he wants to inspire others to photograph with a goal in mind – a journalistic piece, photo book, exhibition or multimedia presentation.
People interested in enhancing their photography skills, raising their level of creativity, developing their seeing and design skills along with exploring and expanding computing skills will be offered practical plant and animal photography in natural settings with animal species that are both unique and visually spectacular

Day 1 Sessions: Parish points to ways to tell stories from your heart. He looks at photo sites, copyright issues, branding, creating business plans, how paper and digital publishing works, the decor market and even work-life balance.
Day 2 Sessions: Learn to pre-visualise your images before shooting, including light and colour, perspective, balance, framing, form and modelling, composition, capture and also post production and design techniques.
