With a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Gold and Silversmithing and extensive experience in business, sales, marketing and relationship management, Craft ACT says the appointment “will, no doubt, have a stimulating impact”.
As well, Craft ACT says, “an impressive new business model” is being developed that will expand opportunities and commissions for local craft practitioners and designers and micro-enterprises, making a contribution to the Canberra’s creative industries and its economy.
The fit-out for the shop is well underway and Craft ACT plans to hold an “unprecedented” sale from May 1 to 16.
