ACTEWAGL is offering its customers one complimentary ticket per household to the National Gallery of Australia summer blockbuster exhibition “James Turrell: A Retrospective” for use across the weekend of 20 and 21 December.
James Turrell’s work spans more than five decades with 140 solo exhibitions and permanent installations in museums and private collections around the world. One of Turrell’s largest and most complex works, “Within without 2010, the Skyspace” is at the National Gallery of Australia.
With sold out seasons in Los Angles and New York, Turrell’s works play on perception and emotion, and prompts viewers to question the nature of light and its origins. “James Turrell: A Retrospective is a timed ticket exhibition with limited capacity entry every 15 minutes”.
Tickets are subject to availability and must be redeemed by Friday 19 December. You can register for your one complimentary ticket per household for use on 20 and 21 December at www.actewagl.com.au/turrell
The exhibition opens from 13 December 2014. For more information about the exhibition visit www.nga.gov.au/jamesturrell
