THE National Folk Festival has been rolling out the red carpet – and there’ll be more of the same in the coming months as it unveils its 2015 line-up of artist for the big Easter event at EPIC – so far over 200 international and national acts.

Their latest idea is The Ultimate Tent Concert, billed as “the campfire concert of a lifetime.”
This is not a circus-tent scale activity but rather an exclusive concert, performed in your very own tent by Canberra’s witty folk stars Sparrow-Folk.
No prizes for guessing that this is a marketing ploy. Everyone who books a season camping pass by Christmas will go into the running to win an exclusive tent concert with Sparrow-Folk at the National Folk Festival. Only one tent will win.
Sparrow Folk rose to national recognition when their satirical video clip about breastfeeding ‘Ruin Your Day’, went viral hitting over 658,000 views. 2015 looks set to be a big year for the girls as they come to the National via Edinburgh Fringe launching their new album ‘SuBIRDia’ with hilarious tales of marital sex and mid-life love at the 2015 Festival.
