CANBERRA CBD Limited is the proud owner of futuristic cubby house won at auction at Floriade.
The futuristic, mutli-coloured cubby house with a slide and rock-climbing wall, designed by highly regarded Cox Architects and built by local firm Englobo, will play a prominent role in Christmas in the City.
The cubby will be housed in the City centre in City Walk in late November for all Canberrans to enjoy and will be awarded as the major prize in the Christmas in the City treasure hunt.
Jane Easthope, CEO of Canberra CBD Limited, is delighted with the purchase.
“The Cubby House is a great inclusion for Christmas in the City and we are honoured to have been able to contribute to the causes of both Boundless Canberra and The Centenary Hospital for Women and Children,” Easthope said.
It cost $5,500 and a spokesperson for Canberra CBD Limited says it is an asset.
