SOME days for lunch you just want a sandwich.
And when that day rolls around, when I’m tired of exotic curries, bored with bento boxen, jaded at the very thought of a wrap, I trot up Alinga Street to the Blue Olive Cafe.
$10.90 gets a large and delicious sandwich on the choice of an assortment of breads from Flute Bakery.
Today I had the Donatello (all the sandwiches are named after either ninja turtles or artists. Probably artists.). Roast beef, tomato salsa, mustard aioli, spinach, and cheese.
A delicious wholesome meal (with table service if one eats in) for just a smidge over $10.
