THE Canberra Railway Museum have their steam trains fired up, their carriages open for display and a steam train running to Queanbeyan and back all over this easter long weekend.
There’s a booking form with all the times and there’s lots of trainspotterly joy at their Geijera Place Kingston headquarters.
Tickets include Museum entry and a ride in a heritage train to Queanbeyan and return. There’s a cafe in the heritage carriages. You can see 6029, the largest steam locomotive in the southern hemisphere and meet the Easter bunny.
Online bookings close 9PM the day prior to travel but Steam Train tickets are available at the ticket office each day.
General museum entry tickets are available at the ticket office.
