Wallabies legend and Marist old boy Joe Roff has been back to his alma mata and atop his bicycle raising funds to give more children the benefit of a Marist education.

The inaugural Brother Mark May Cycle Challenge is being conducted by the Marist College Canberra Foundation to help raise funds for the Brother Mark May Bursary Fund.

“I’m involved as I benefitted from a Marist education – an education I have been proud to have received. There are many families who have a burning desire to be able to do that for their children, however don’t have the means to be able to do so. With friends, parents and other riders, I’m keen to raise funds for a most worthy cause,” said Joe.

You can get involved and donate on the Challenge web page.

At the time of writing the challenge had nearly reached its $20,000 target but we have no doubt more generosity can be put to good use.
