Easter Eggs

TUGGERANONG Library is playing host to an easter egg hunt for young children all through April.

“The Easter egg hunt is suitable for all ages, but is designed for children under five years old, as it is a great way to teach visual awareness,” Libraries ACT Director Vanessa Little said.

“Participants are given several clues to help them find hidden eggs inside the library, to test their searching skills. It is a great way to spend some time in the library, while also teaching children to use their eyes and minds to solve problems.

“The activity is a healthy and educational variation on the traditional Easter egg hunt, as there are no chocolate Easter eggs involved. Children and their carers can drop in to the library anytime and take part.

“The Easter egg hunt is available during opening hours every day between Tuesday 1 April and Wednesday, 30 April 2014 (excluding public holidays) at the Tuggeranong Library. No bookings are required.”
