An unusual type of “house” has popped up almost overnight at CIT Reid.

Head of department for CIT Creative Industries, Penny Boyer, said the students’ work has given them real-life design experience – while also inspiring creativity.
“The students’ work has required them to really pay attention to detail and is an exploration of everything that encompasses the design process in interior and building design – from furniture design, lighting, joinery and objects d’art,” Ms Boyer said.
“It has tested the students to think about how to create functional space and atmosphere through the creative process of house design.”
The house is on show at CIT’s Reid Hall until Thursday, March 27.
