CANBERRA, the organisers of ‘Festival of Ambitious Ideas’ say, is full of problem solvers who have the drive, talent and inventiveness that can be harnessed to launch new ventures and create new industries.
But you’ll have to be quick to register. To celebrate the ACT Microcredit Loan Program’s fifth Anniversary, this year’s Festival of Ambitious Ideas will showcase 12 speakers from sectors including family business, social enterprises, education institutions, young entrepreneurs, clean technology, ICT, creative industries, Government and academia.
On Thursday evening at Orana School, speakers will have only 5 minutes each to present their ideas. The theme for this year’s event will be ‘the Future of Work’ and speakers will discuss how their businesses or innovative projects have harnessed opportunities.
Areas covered will be Flexible Work Sustainability Science, Technology and Machine Capabilities The Rise of Entrepreneurship Connectivity, Collaboration and Co-Working Visualisation and Making Sense of Data Crowdsourcing Maker Culture The Role of Education and Learning What’s Happening.
