ACT Australian of the Year, entrepreneur and philanthropist Glenn Keys has been elected Chair of Canberra Business Chamber.
The election of Mr. Keys followed the stepping down of Mr. Tony Henshaw, who has been interim Executive Chair since mid-2014.
“Tony Henshaw has played a pivotal role in overseeing the successful coming together of two well-known and respected business organisations – Canberra Business Council and the ACT and Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry – to form a single strong voice for business in Canberra and the region – Canberra Business Chamber”, Glenn said.
“I am honoured to have been asked to lead this new organisation into the future.”
“Now that we have a single platform for Canberra Business to be heard, I look forward to providing a clear voice from the business community on the direction for Canberra into the future.”
