THE 2014 National Multicultural Festival will begin tomorrow afternoon with a free opening concert in Garema Place, headlined by the capital’s own international hip-hop star Timomatic and jazz siren Monica Trapaga.
More than 380 stalls will feature in this year’s festival, offering up dishes from across the globe including German sausages, Tibetan dumplings, Thai fish cakes, Dutch pancakes and a multitude of meats on a stick.This year the event includes a special section dedicated to the food and culture of the United States – expect ribs, cornbread, hot rod cars, rock and roll dancing.
