ACT Minister for the Arts Joy Burch has today announced the membership of a reference group which will guide the consultation process for the review of the ACT Arts Policy Framework.
“It is vital that the Framework reflects the ACT Government’s continuing commitment to the arts by providing a structure within which future arts policy will be developed, while guiding the implementation and review of existing policy and programs,”“As part of this process, artsACT will also conduct a thorough analysis of the ACT arts sector and current and future needs to identify gaps, strengths and weaknesses,” Ms Burch said.
The members of the group are:
David Williams, Childers Group
Gavin Findlay, Music ACT
Joseph Falsone, Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres
David Broker, Canberra Contemporary Art Space
Rosanna Stevens, researcher and writer, and
Jacqueline Lo, ANU
