THREDBO Blues Festival returns this weekend as part of Thredbo Village’s summer event schedule, the festival and, this year celebrating its 21st birthday, is boasting the “biggest and best line-up yet”’ with 22 acts spanning three days.

This year’s lineup will include performances from ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Russell Morris, ARIA Award winner Jeff Lang, Blues royalty Ray Beadle and multi-instrumentalist Rick Price and director Stewart Wauchop claims that the unique format “definitely provides an unrivalled experience for any music fan.”
Lang says, “I’ve been coming to Thredbo to play at the Blues Festival for 19 years now. I love how it feels as though the whole town has given itself over to music for the duration of the festival. The audiences are great too; the whole town is populated by people who love to hear live music.”
Packages include festival tickets, accommodation, access to all venues and unlimited chairlift rides are on offer and start at $168. As part of this package festival-goers have the option to select from a range of local venues including Thredbo Alpine Apartments, Thredbo Alpine Hotel, Alpenhorn Lodge and Berntis Mountain Inn (subject to availability, prices may vary). Regular tickets range from $25 for a student evening pass to $150 for the full weekend festival pass.
