ACT Policing is responding to a serious assault on a man in Kingston (Thursday, December 4).
About 9.50am this morning, police received a report of a 57-year-old man with a laceration to his throat.
ACT Ambulance Service was in attendance and conveyed the man to hospital where he is undergoing surgery.
At this time police are treating the incident as suspicious.
