ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious house fire in Narrabundah that was lit in the early hours of this morning (24 November).
About 2.25am police were called to Warramoo Street, were the fire had already been extinguished by ACT Fire and Rescue and the house deemed safe.
It appeared the fire was deliberately lit with an accelerant thrown through the front window on to a mattress which caught fire.
Repairs are estimated to cost more than $50 000, with extensive damage to contents within the front room and smoke damage throughout the house.
