IN this glorious people’s republic we’re used to the satisfaction surveys coming back in the high 90s if only because of the cunningly framed questions and the willingness of surveyors to badger their victims into giving the sought after answers.
So it’s somewhat disturbing to hear from Chief Minister Gallagher that only 85% of food safety businesses are happy with the Government’s inspectors.
“I am pleased to see that food businesses are reporting high levels of satisfaction with the services provided by the Operations team during food safety inspections,” Katy said.
“72% of respondents rated the service they received as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’. 85% agreed that Operations officers provide a courteous, professional and high quality service. 81% of respondents who had phoned the Health Protection Services for food safety advice rated the information they received as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.”
“I hope that the satisfaction levels with inspectors can remain at these high levels and continue to improve,” the Chief Minister concluded.
