THE Golden Drum restaurant on University Avenue does a pretty good Yum Cha.
But, in this world overwhelmed with excessive adverbiage surrounding food as TV networks cash in on public demand for fat blokes in ascots making up terms about eating, their description of their chicken dish shines through like a beacon of truth and honesty.
“Hot and Numbing Chicken”
Beats the hell out of “umami”.
