THE 7 Sopranos plan to raise the roof at Llewellyn Hall tomorrow.
As part of their first regional tour in 10 locations across regional NSW, Canberra and northern Victoria, they’ll be here performing opera highlights and popular favourites from around the world.
The sopranos are a group of professional young opera singers, whose combination of voices, glamour and sophistication have been drawing audiences across Australia and Asia for the past four years.
Their debut album, released by ABC Music, made the ARIA charts when released last year.
Highlights will include arias from “La Traviata”, “Carmen”, “The Phantom of the Opera” and Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma.”
The group is the brainchild of Tarita Botsman, who had the idea of creating an operatic-style production with just seven singers, and they number among their fans broadcaster Alan Jones and retired Governor of NSW, Dame Marie Bashir.
The 7 Sopranos, at Llewellyn Hall, 7.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday October 15, bookings to http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=SOPRANOS14
