Canberra photographers are invited to enter a photo competition celebrating 25 years of ParkCare and Landcare, capturing what they love about Canberra’s parks and reserves.
The photo competition, run by the ACT Government in partnership with ParkCare and Landcare, the local community and the Regional Landcare Facilitator Initiative, is designed to “explore what Canberrans love most about our Bush Capital and recognise the invaluable contribution made by environmental volunteers.”
“The photos could be places in nature you have come to love, people who have been involved in the ParkCare or Landcare movement, or anything that inspires you to get out and look after our natural environment,” says Jasmine Foxlee, Parks and Conservation Service ParkCare and Volunteer Coordinator.
The top ten finalists of the competition will have their photographs displayed at a number of venues.
Entry for the competition is free, and submissions for the competition close on Wednesday October 8th 2014.
Online voting will open on October 9th and close on October 15th 2014.
