Starting with real-life events, the deaths in custody of Aboriginal men in Queensland and WA, “Sweet One” published by Fremantle Press, is a thriller about the possible future of black and white relations.

Described as incendiary, thought-provoking and powerful, “the novel has Melbourne journalist Izzy travelling to outback WA to cover the death of an Aboriginal war veteran on ANZAC Day.”
