WATSON Arts Centre has a display of teacups on show and sale until January 27.

The late Canberra ceramicist, Jane Crick, amassed an impressive collection of teacups over many years. 84 pieces from her collection are displayed in this exhibition and all are for sale. A base price of $50 has been set.  At least 50 per cent of the price of each exhibit sold is to be donated to an ovarian cancer charity in Crick’s name.

Thursday to Sunday 10am-4pm at Watson Arts Centre, Aspinall St Watson.

Coro Chamber Music is holding auditions tomorrow, Saturday, January 18, from 11am – 2pm for all voice parts to join us for our first concert of 2014 on Friday, February 14.  “Toby Cole is Lovesick”.  To book an audition phone  Alanna on 0419 213 490 or email info@corocanberra.com

Tomorrow’s National Music Camp concerts at Llewellyn Hall are at 4.30pm (Mozart, Jameson and Brahms) and 8pm (Beethoven, Rachmaninov, and Stravinsky). Entry is by donation at the door.

The popular summer outdoor screenings at the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra will this year focus on 50 years ago – the year of 1964. Tomorrow night, January 18, it will be Elvis in “Viva Las Vegas”.

Tickets are $14/12 concession. Bookings on 6248 2000. Doors open 7pm for a sunset start (approx. 8.30pm). Bar service and snacks available. BYO food welcome (no glass).
